Cappies Awards 2025. The cappies is a writing and awards program that trains high school theatre and journalism students to be expert writers, critical thinkers, and leaders. During the cappies gala, schools that are nominated for best play have the opportunity to perform a short scene, and those nominated for best musical get to perform a song.
